A RARE ONE OWNER 1961 FIESTA RED  FENDER STRATOCASTER

Not a Selmer 're-finish' but an original Factory Fiesta Red..!

Here is a stunning example of a 1961 Stratocaster in one of the most desirable colours. Being a one owner guitar it's in excellent condition with only a few marks etc plus some buckle wear, (full details pics available),

All the pot's and pickups are original (dated 1961) and have untouched solder joints, 3 way switch and knobs are original as well.

The pickguard and backplate are original and are not cracked.

The fretboard is a rosewood slab board with clay dots and has the spaggetti logo and kluson deluxe tuners.

The finsh is still bright and this guitar with all the case candy has been very well cared for by the previous owner who has been a great custodian of this fine guitar.

The original 'ash tray', tremelo arm, fender brochure, strap and the Selmer guarantee are all included as can be seen in the pics.

Case is the crocodile styled one by Fender England.

The photo's and the record are not included in the sale but we can scan them and include them on a usb for the new owner.

This guitar came to Australia around 1964 after Steve the owner migrated here, he then started working in a different industry and as such the guitar was in storage from 1964 until a few months ago. Steve played in the band as a rhythm guitarist with Johnnie Taylor & Le Stangers and played at many clubs in Paris and the US bases at the time. Below is a link for the youtube video.

Overall this is a very fine example of a truly unique guitar. This would ideally suit a professional musician, a Fender collector or an investor. The last one that we sold in 2005 in same condition we sold for $27,000 aud, so you see where prices are going with these.

Feel free to ask questions and I look forward to hearing from you.
