During the eighties Allan was knows as a great Jazz/Fusion player, at the time Ibanez approached Allan to build him a signature model.
This is the result and what a result. At the time was not really appreciated as Allans style was not that popular with the 80's generation. So what happend now, well this guitar has somewhat become a legend among Shredders and Metal fans, yes really. It's considered one great guitar now because of the 'hot' pickup that Ibanez designed at the time. The fingerboard is ebony and plays and feels great.
Has the spider motif on the serial plate and headstock as Allan was known for having fingerwork like a spiders legs, so thats how the spider came into being.
This one is totally original including it's case, even has the original sticker from musgroves music shop here in Perth.
So, if your a shredder or a metal fan, highly recommended.
