JUST ARRIVED: IBANEZ GEORGE BENSON BLONDE 1978

if your a jazz player or maybe you love semi acoustic guitars then this George Benson Ibanez could meet your needs. This one is in blonde, and over the years we've come to find out that the blonde or natural guitars usually used the best woods available not only for tone, but for the looks as well.

This one built in 1978 in Japan, has the two humbucker pickup configuration plus two tone and volume knobs. There is a three way selector as well with the black surround.

The pickguard is multi bound in black and white with tortoise shell and the bridge pickup is attached via the pickguard.

Bridge is a floating design very typical of archtop guitars and features some inlays.

Tailpiece is quite fance as can be seen as does have wear etc to the gold parts.

The fretboard is a very dark rosewood and the frets are fancy as well plus there is a zero brass nut.

The headstock is also quite fancy and looks great and in excellent condition.

Tuners are all original as well.

Also, the front and back both are multi bound with black and white binding, and the heel of the neck does show wear on the heel from the binding material, doesnt effect it of course, just natural wear and tear.

Has been for a full setup including polish, action, service pots and deep clean etc.

The back of the guitar does have a mild quilting effect and again great looking.

So if your into jazz or maybe even rockabilly, this could suit you right down to the ground.

Case to me seems an aftermarket one and is in very good condition as well.

A very nice Ibanez George Benson from the 70's.
